The bold, architectural form of Vriesea ‘Intenso Purple Flame’ makes it a striking indoor plant. Its glossy green leaves form a neat rosette that produces a dramatic upright flower spike in rich purple tones, bringing long-lasting colour and a tropical feel to your home.

Light: Vriesea ‘Intenso Purple Flame’ prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid strong direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. A well-lit room with filtered light will help maintain healthy growth and vibrant colour.

Water: Keep a small amount of water in the central rosette (the natural “cup” formed by the leaves) and refresh it regularly. The potting mix should be kept lightly moist but never waterlogged. Reduce watering slightly during cooler months.

We use environmentally friendly packaging where possible including 'Enviro-boxes', fully recyclable paper tape, biodegradable bubble wrap and starch packing peanuts which are fully soluble when saturated with water. Our 'Enviro-boxes' have been developed in conjunction with WRAP, the Waste and Resources Action Programme, the Enviro-box offers a sustainable and reliable alternative to larger double wall boxes.

Delivery Info

Nationwide Shipping
Online orders are processed and dispatched within seven business days. The standard delivery fee is £5.95 for orders below £65; free shipping for orders above £65. Our plants are shipped Monday to Wednesday. Orders received Thursday to Sunday will be shipped the following Monday to avoid live plant products sitting in warehouses over the weekend. Your order will be sent via DPD or Royal Mail using their next day service.

Click & Collect
All our products are available for Click and Collect from our Chiswick store at 21 Turnham Green Terrace, W4 1RG. We will notify you once your order is ready to collect from our store but we aim to have them ready 1 hour after receiving your order. If you would rather collect your purchase from our Northfields store please contact us before placing your order and we will see if this can be facilitated.
