The Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Laurentii’, also known as the Snake Plant, Mother-in-Law’s Tongue, or Variegated Snake Plant, is one of the most popular and easy-care houseplants, prized for its tall, sword-shaped green leaves edged with striking golden-yellow margins. This hardy indoor plant has a bold architectural appearance and is exceptionally adaptable, making it an excellent choice for homes, offices, bedrooms, and contemporary interiors. Its drought tolerance and ability to cope with lower light conditions make it particularly suitable for beginners and busy plant owners.

Light: Sansevieria ‘Laurentii’ thrives in bright, indirect light but is extremely adaptable and can tolerate lower light conditions. It can also enjoy some direct sunlight, while brighter conditions will encourage stronger growth and help maintain its distinctive yellow variegation.

Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. As a drought-tolerant succulent, Sansevieria stores water within its thick leaves and requires only infrequent watering. Water sparingly, particularly throughout winter, and always ensure excess water drains away freely, as overwatering is the most common cause of root rot.

Our 'Enviro-boxes' have been developed in conjunction with WRAP, the Waste and Resources Action Programme, the Enviro-box offers a sustainable and reliable alternative to larger double wall boxes.

Delivery Info

Nationwide Shipping
Online orders are processed and dispatched within seven business days. The standard delivery fee is £5.95 for orders below £65; free shipping for orders above £65. Our plants are shipped Monday to Wednesday. Orders received Thursday to Sunday will be shipped the following Monday to avoid live plant products sitting in warehouses over the weekend. Your order will be sent via DPD or Royal Mail using their next day service.

Click & Collect
All our products are available for Click and Collect from our Chiswick store at 21 Turnham Green Terrace, W4 1RG. We will notify you once your order is ready to collect from our store but we aim to have them ready 1 hour after receiving your order. If you would rather collect your purchase from our Northfields store please contact us before placing your order and we will see if this can be facilitated.
